    Picked this up at the local Staples store today to replace a 120GB Western Digital hard drive in my dell laptop. The origonal hard drive (Western Digital) only lasted two years, so I wanted to try another brand. So after reading reviews on here and [...], I decided to give Seagate a try. I can't comment on reliability, as I have only had the unit for ~12HRS (although it has a 5 year warranty, which is a huge plus) but installation was quick and painless. The price is hard to beat, especially when you can just go to your local staples store and pick it up (instead of buying one off the internet from a retailer such as [...] or etc and having to wait for it to ship).

      Exactly the same HDD as that came with the PS3 just bigger. Easy to install takes about 5 minutes the first time. For PS3 the HDD must be formatted to fat32 (use free swissknife software to format)

        Nice drive only thing bad was did not come with SATA driver disk. So must be installed with BIOS set to Compatibility Mode. This is when you are replacing a crashed drive.

            Drive must be installed with BIOS set to Compatibility. No way to install SATA drivers since disk does not come with drive. Beside that it works just fine. Great price and good storage size.
