It was difficult to install. Also when I shut down my computer, it must be disconnected from the power supply or my computer will not restart. After the computer powers up I plug blackarmor back into the power strip.

Nice drive, quiet in comparison to the western digital that I also have, but awkward shape makes it not stack well with similar devices of different brands. Hard to beat for the price though, and very rugged design.

I use this drive for video storage in a travel drive set up...
It works extremely well for my applications and is a true workhorse...
I have a full laptop based editing system for road use and this drive is exactly what you need to keep up with the Jones'
compatible with MAC or PC it is an Editor's dream...
