It has a lot of space however because it does not have a password to open it, it is not secure enough. You can encrypt it, but I would feel more secure with a pass word to block anyone else using it without my consent.

I use this to backup my laptop's hard drive and to store family videos (which I don't save on my computer since that hard drive isn't that big). It's very easy to install and use. I'm completely satisfied.
