I have needed a backup drive for a very long time and finally found the Seagate. The price was good for 500GB and I felt it would last a very long time. Have other Seagate products, so am familiar with the brand. Very simple setup and backs up my files automatically at a time I chose in the setup nightly. I am able to view the backup log each morning and verify. Have not had this for about a week, but am very pleased!!

I used it to back up my computer and it was easy to do. I wish it came with clearer instruction for a new external drive user to understand how to transfer material back to the original hardrive
