I already had two 500GB drives with e-sata/USB by Acomdata but needed more storage. This Seagate FreeAgent was a pleasant surprise. It is very fast for a USB drive. Its speed is faster than the USB speed of my other drives (but not the e-sata mode). I am very pleased with this drive.

Plug it and go! Just do what it tells you and it takes care of the rest. If you have a fast computer and a speedy ISP you're all set for some fun downloading too. My first time using a product from this brand and it's a pretty good experience so far.
