This network attached storage (NAS) drive features a large storage capacity of three terabytes and can be used in a number of ways. The drive can back up the files from up to three computers on a network. This potentially eliminates the expense of using separate external hard drives or backup solutions for each individual computer while also helping you maintain an organized network. You can also use the device to store large media files such as full-length movies and music in one location and access them from any computer on your network.

Easy Setup
If you already have a wireless network, getting started with the NAS drive is easy. First, you'll need to connect the GoFlex device to your wireless router and an electrical outlet, and secondly you will need to insert the network drive into the GoFlex storage base unit. All of the required cables are included, along with a quick start guide that features simple installation instructions.

Mac and PC Compatibility
There is no need to worry if your network contains a mixture of various device types. Macintosh and PC computers are both supported. You can also access your data files through mobile devices, video game consoles, and media players if they integrated into your wireless network.
