I bought it very cheap when it is on the clearance. The price including tax is around 40 dollars which has a good quality/value ratio and I use it for the laptop upgrade. Total experience is great.

  Seagate MomentusÂ® Internal 2.5-inch SATA 5400 RPM 500GB Hard Drive is compatible with your PS3, however you have to format it as FAT32 driver. Sounds as if its formatted as NTFS, which is why it can be seen by the PS3.
