    When I mount the clock on the wall, do I need a wire connecting to a power outlet or is it battery opereated?

    How is the clarity of the picture and how far does it reach?

    Can I have my computer/monitor in a seperate room or does it has to be in the same room as the clock?

      This clock runs on a power adapter and it will reach as far as your WiFi is set up for.

      There is a power adapter that plugs into the clock and the wall socket, and it requires 2 AA batteries that are not included. Video transmission goes up to 330ft clear line of sight or 100ft indoors, and the is clear picture. Yes you can have the monitor or TV in another room.
