I purchased a Sentry file that I believe is the same model a few years ago for my office. I was looking for security and fire protection for my most important papers. The unthinkable happened and the building where my office was located burned to the ground. There were 7 businesses in the bldg and we all lost everything. It was arson and fueled by gasoline. All that is left are 4 outside walls (roof collapsed during fire). It burned HOT (some blue flame) and OUT OF CONTROL for 3 HOURS! I didn't think this file cabinet would survive. IT DID!!!! Everything inside was FINE. Smelled a little smoky, but no char, no water. It apparently seals itself as soon as the heat gets hot enough, so no water got in either (and the firemen dumped thousands of gallons of water into the building from aerial ladders). It was so well sealed that we had to really work to break into it after the fire to get the files out. I'm setting up a new office soon and plan to buy a least 2 of these for my new office. I was the only business that really salvaged anything from that building.

The cabinet lock did not work. After locked the cabinet, when pulling both drawers together, both drawer come out of cabinet together. The lock function seems just to lock two drawer together, and can not lock the drawer inside cabinet.
