The combination directions are somewhat difficult to remember and with the unit mounted on the floor, makes it hard to read the dial. Otherwise, it is a good low-priced safe.

When I was looking at purchasing this safe a lot of the other people on SlickDeals were saying that it's not a good safe for valuables. They said a thief could pry the door open with a crow bar. Others said the plastic interior would melt in a fire (not sure about that one) and still others said the Sentry safes were known to have moisture issues. The safe came with a large silicate packet, though, which I am keeping in the safe to prevent moisture issues. The safe also can be bolted down to prevent theft, but you have to drill the holes into the safe yourself (they're pre-started, but that's it). An odd feature of the safe is that you have to have both the combo and the key to open it, which could be problematic down the road, I suppose.
