Sorry I bought it

You are supposed to be able to put your logo on the slip - nope, and the techs don't know how either. Couldn't even get our name on the slip at a decent size....Read complete review

You are supposed to be able to put your logo on the slip - nope, and the techs don't know how either. Couldn't even get our name on the slip at a decent size. Very disappointed. Poor instructions. Says to use a SDHC card for memory, but fails to tell you you can only use a 2GB. Anything larger doesn't work!
Supposed to be able to use with quickbooks - but guess what, only certain ones.
Our previous machine would batch out with all the transactions, but this one only gives you totals. Not terribly helpful. For the price this is a very bad investment.

The manual is too complicated for the average person to set up. Not enough detail to understand any of the functions without ALOT of time to study it. We hate the manual, and haven't been able to program enough into it to know how well it functions: i.e., memory, footprint, etc. It prints well, however. We want to track sales and our large inventory but have not had the time to program it for that. Only using it for accurate sales totals for now. Unable to comment on "best uses" because it not being used as intended.

I purchased this unit because they claimed it worked with Quickbooks. I have windows 7 and Sharps programming doesn't work with it.I have over 500 part numbers that I need to enter into this unit but the instructions are not clear. I contacted Sharp support twice and got disconnected twice. Funny, I only got disconnected when the tech was baffled by my questions!I would return this unit but I threw out the box.Guess its going on [@]
