      We don't like the black color
      No CD Set up manual is very difficult to understand, All have to call Sharp for help with setup. Came with two broken register buttons and only one set of register keys!

          The software for this register does not work with vista 64 bit or windows 7 64 bit. Would have been nice to know prior to purchase. Also, the software does not work well with vista 32 bit, despite sharp's claims, but what does, right? Either way, the sharp customer service is not helpful and downright annoying. If you are an IT god and have a month of time to kill with this machine, you might like it. Otherwise, I would suggest looking for other options.

                You MUST have a 64 bit processor (a fairly new computer) in order to connect.
                I tried to install this five times until the third help desk person told me.

                  Make sure you have an old version of WIndows, setting it up on Vista is ridiculously complicated and half the features on the MFG's software wont interface with the cash register. It wont work with 64 bit Vista or Windows 7. If you have about 2 weeks of spare time to devote to figuring out how to make this work with it's own software and you are an IT god, then this machine might be for you. If not, I would recommend you buy something else.

                    We bought this model which is an upgrade from our past register. Our other register was damaged during a robbery and because I have some experience with sharp registers this new one was easy to set up. I absolutely love that sharp decided to make this model in gray. Very pleased with my purchase!

                      I have never owned a cash reg. This is my first experience. The customer service is outstanding. They are knowledgeable and explain everything very well. The only thing I did not care for was that the owners manual doesn't make sense half the time. But I just call customer service and they explain it to me.
