I USE THIS FOR EVERY DAY WRITING. MY NOTES ARE BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN IN ALL THESE FINE COLORS THAT NEVER FADE, NEVER SMEAR, AND NEVER GET DULL. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE I CAN SEE IS THE ANGLE OF WRITING CAN BE A BIT AWKWARD BECAUSE THE TIP ISN'T CHISELED OR JUTTED OUT, BUT NONETHELESS, I RECOMMEND THESE PENS TO EVERYONE! THEY ARE GREAT. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE PURPLE INKED SHARPIES! TOO BAD I CAN'T BUY THAT PARTICULAR INK INDIVIDUALLY!

Taking notes for the MCAT. I like them for ease of writing (especially since i hurt my wrist recently), due to the larger grip and felt tip pen style. Also, this newer version doesn't bleed through the paper which is also great. However, one major drawback I feel is that it doesn't last as long as it should (given the price i paid for it). I'd say it only went though about 35-40 (single sided) pages of paper before it ran out.

I'm a huge fan of retractable pens as well as very fine felt tips, so these pens were kind of a no brainer. Additionally they come in a very dark purple color which is great for casual use that won't be too girly if you're a guy. They also have a good deal of longevity, im guessing, since ive never actually had one dry out yet, and ive been using sharpie retractables for about 12-18 months now.
