we write on tubes of blood, so we need perm. marking. it is not convenient to keep taking a cap off, keeping track of it and putting it back on. just click and write. they are so much better quality then the last pens i bought at staples that half of them didnt work. i love the sharpie fine point. it did seem the price on the sales slip was different then the price on the shelf, but it is worth the extra.

Not-so-ultra-fine

I would prefer a thinner, sharper point. I would not classify this as ultra thin. It is thin at best, and on certain paper is actually thick.

wE USE THESE PENS ON THE BACK OF iNSPECTION STICKERS. wE NEED IT TO BE PERMANENT AND A FINE POINT FOR WRITING LONG NUMBERS. lOVE THIS PRODUCT. wE ALWAYS BOUGHT THE OTHER SHARPIES WITH FINE POINT BUT ULTRA FINE IS THE BEST.......

I bought these to label the breakers in the breaker box of my home. It stopped writing after a few labels. Instead I used a regular Sharpie marker and that worked great. I think the ultra fine point of these is too small for the ink to flow properly.

I have been using Sharpies for decades because I got tired of ink fading or bleeding if wet, which Sharpies do not do. However, these pens are particularly good because of the click cap. The ink is ultra fine so they even work good for accounting.
