These pads are great. I've been using them for several years, and they are all I buy. They are durable, separate easily from the top and are reasonably priced. Good value overall.

Purchased these pads at my local store as it only stocks Ampads in colored paper and I prefer white. The description for these pads states "Heavy weight Microperforated". I (incorrectly) assumed that the Staple's Signa line was their house brand premium pad equivalent to the Ampad 16 or 20 Lb paper pads. It turns out that these pads do have a fairly stiff backing but use 15 Lb paper. When writing with an pen such as a Uni_Ball Vision Elite, the ink will sometimes bleed thru to the next page leaving ink dots or lines on the blank sheet below. If you intend to frequently handle or keep your pages, I would suggest not using these pads.
