        I bought these because the reviews said the sound quality was as good as Apple's OEM headphones. Nope, not even close. These sound tinny and flat. I bought them because my kids tend to lose or break mine, but next time I will pay more and keep them locked up.

          My grand daughter is very hard on her earbuds, after replacing them once a month for several years I purchased my 1st pair of SckullCandy earbuds from Stapeles using rewards points. Now I have purchased the second pair with warrant, from Staples and I am pleased its been almost a year.

            Previous Skull Candy ear buds have died prematurely, disconecting just above the jack, where I plug into my nano. I use ear buds while working out about 5 times a week so the system does get bounced around. I have noted that this set uses flat cords which I find are not as prone to becoming tangled. Also, where the cord joins with the actual ear buds and where the cord joins with the jack the materials look more substantial than on the earlier generations. The sound remains very good for a relatively cheap product that, I hope will survive the stress or work outs. I am optimisitc.

                You can't go wrong with SkullCandy. I have bought other brands and they don't hold up like these ones. They are extremely comfortable and worth every penny. Once you use SkullCandy you will not want to use any other headphone - especially the ones that come with your device. SkullCandy has a wide range of colors and styles to satisfy all the members in your family. The cord is easy to wrap around my ipod and do not become tangled and twisted. The sound quality is excellent! I have used SkullCandy headphones for several years and highly recommend them!
