I use these almost exclusively with my Apple iPods (I own three), usually when I am at the gym. The design fits nicely in my ears and keeps out unwanted background noise, letting me concentrate on my workout. My only complaint it that the cord is a bit on the long side, forcing me to pay too much attention to it when I am on weight machines. Yes, I have ripped them out of my ears on more than one occasion, unfortunately. The comfortable fit is also nice when on an airplane, as it blocks out the annoying noises one encounters such as the engines or crying babies.

I've had some better, but more worse. Not too shabby, but they could have done better with the speakers emitting better sound - it gets muddy after a certain volume and that's not just because I'm getting older.
