These Smead yellow pressboard classification folders are pretty sturdy. I've never had a problem with the "Safe Shield" bracket holders and don't know what happened with the batch that the previous reviewer used. We add documents to and move these files frequently, and there has never been a problem with the brackets.

If you are keeping something like legal files, definitely go for the two dividers rather than the thinner version. It's worth the extra money to be able to find sub-categories (correspondence, filings, summaries, etc.) in your files easily.

Do not get these. Staples shows this product as having embedded fasteners. They do not have them, they have Smead's flimsy "SafeShield" fasteners that are just glued on. They will fall apart on you if your files are high volume and are constantly being filed into.
