I absolutely love the Smead Viewables system. I use them personally and, as a professional organizer, I encourage all of my clients to use them for their personal and business files. The 3D hanging tabs make finding files in a crowded filing cabinet a breeze and it's wonderful to be able to color code tabs by subject.

Why all file companies don't make this the standard for file systems is beyond me. If your files are below eye level the FILE NAME pops out because it is printed on top of the tab. If the file is eye level it works like all other file tabs. If you are standing in a position behind the files you can still see the FILE NAME.
The program allows the tabs to be printed in color or black so you can tell at a glance what type of file it is according to your color code system. The tabs stand above the files so they do not steal space. The program to print the tabs comes with the initial package. Print, peel and stick the label to the tab. Then just insert into the hanging file like any other plastic tab, but this is far superior.

This is one of the smartest inventions since filing began! Bold, colorful type on sturdy tabs that withstand heavy use. Great for the seasoned office professional but a 'must have' for the folks who have a real aversion to filing. These make filing so much easier and less time consuming because you can see/read from almost every angle!

I use this system at work as well as at home. I can find items almost instantly and don't have to rummage through a file drawer trying to read the labels. It is easy to use, color codable, and makes your file cabinet a work of art! It is a little more expensive to use but the extra cost is worth the result.
