Comments about SoleusAir® 18" Classic Metal Stand Fan:

I bought this fan thinking by the description, it would make a nice addition to my bedroom decor. The fan doesn't exactly look like it did on the website, which may have just been a bad photo. I would describe it as VERY industrial looking as opposed to the other descriptions they used. It doesn't appear poorly built or cheap at all, you can definitely tell this was not a cheap fan from [...]. Putting it together was relatively easy; however, there were a few pieces I couldn't for the life of me figure out what they were for??? One plastic knob broke during assembly and the front cover is missing three (3) of the clasps used to hold the fan housing together. They describe this fan as "whisper quiet", which it is anything but! This is a VERY loud fan; only because of the metal blades and the sonic velocity at which it moves air. This thing on high will tear your flesh off and it sounds more and more like the propeller on a plane as you power it up to different levels. I keep expecting to hear thunder or a sonic boom as the air is propelled violently by this nuclear powered fan!!! LoL

Expected more for $80. Ordered two, one came out of the box unable to be assembled (bottom "bolt" just slid in and out of the threads). Fan looks nice but spend the extra cash and get a better one.

I received this product and when I tried to put it together, there was a defect. [...] Do NOT order this fan. You will have a lot of headache in sending back and forth. I will never order another product from this maker again!
