I like this fan so much that when I had to replace it after 5 yrs of daily use; I just had to find another one just like it. I love the quiet way it runs, the soft blades, and the air it moves is just right for on my desk. I ran this fan at least 50 hours a week, every week for 5 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

substandard product-after a few months of use the motor won't turn so it overheats. My son had it in his bedroom and fortunately smelled something 'hot' and disconnected it before anything more serious happened.

It is the first totally silent fan I have ever experienced. I cannot hear it from one foot away. Because it has a 8 inch wide swath, it does not have to be precisely aimed like a 4 or 6 inch fan, which is good, since it cannot be tilted. This is useful only as a personal fan located less than 2 feet away. Its 15 watt motor does not have the power to use as a window or area fan.
