This case is exactly for what I was looking. We have a rodeo production company & travel much of the year. This bag will be tossed, stuffed, dropped, squished, dusted, etc. all year long. Even if the retractable shoulder strap doesn't hold up, this case has just the right amount of room and different compartments that are the right size. I don't even carry a laptop! The canvas seems sturdy, I just hope the zippers hold up. It will get the gorilla test on the road with me. I will be able to tell you more in a year.

Retractable Strap - Sometimes

The bag has excellent capacity and utility. It is a perfect size for a laptop and has ample capacity for accessories.

Significant drawback - The retractable shoulder strap does not retract and interferes with the bag handles and in accessing the content of the bag.

The strap will either not retract completely or at times will not retract at all. There is no way to manually retract the strap. The strap can't be shortened so if it doesn't retract it's always in the way.

Nice bag if you can put up with the shoulder strap.

I use the product for carrying paperwork and supplies as an Independent Consultant for Pampered Chef.

There is a ton of space and it is very easy for me to organize everything I need to carry with me. It is even wide enough for legal size file folders. I LOVE the retractable shoulder strap...it makes storing it in my office easy and I don't trip over the strap.

The only drawback is that it has a bit of weight to it to begin with and adding a computer and files makes it pretty heavy.

Nice laptop case. I have only had it for 2 weeks, so the verdict is still out on its duribility. I was suprised to see how well padded it was, and really like that it has a seperate compartment for placing documents and folders, like a briefcase. The retractable sholder strap is also a great feature, in fact that is why I picked it over the HP brand.

Designated storage compartment for my 15.4" HP Laptop is very very tight which requires some degree of force/pressure to place the laptop in the aforementioned compartment. In turn, removal of the laptop from this compartment can be trying. I hope the continued use of this case does not damage my laptop. We'll see.

Easy to pick up and go. Holds laptop and prints plenty of room. Work in a small office, so I was always concerned about people tripping on or over my briefcase. No worries with this case.
