These are rated well, but haven't performed to the standards of the HP discs I normally buy (that are manufactured by Taiyo Yuden). I was in a hurry and cheap that day. Out of 10 discs made so for, 3 turned into coasters. That has never happened with other discs.

Used to record church services. Audio discs are required on my home disc recorder and reliable copies are essential. The Sony discs provide consistent reliably accurate recordings.

I had some of the Sony brand and some of the Memorex brand. The Sony brand always worked whereas I had a number of problems with Memorex, not being compatible, or just not working! So, from now on I only buy Sony just to be safe.

As I've stated: Why are CD-R Music discs priced higher than regular CD-R Data Discs? I can only use the "Music" discs to burn on my stand alone CD-Recorder/Player. They burn slower but seem to last longer with less drop outs if any.
