Can't Complain!

I use this product because there's a difference in the thickness and quality of it. I use high-performace Mac's and they don't allow you to burn on lower quality dvd's or cd's. With lower-end dvd's my computer even says to use another brand. These sony DVD's are the solution to my issue. You can even feel the difference in the thickness and strength with your hands. I couldn't ask for more! I even used these to put my masters thesis on. They are the best in price and quality in my opinion. Perfect for burning DVDs, Data DVD's, Movies, etc.

I have a Sony DVD burner and 8 disk in a row failed. Taking back to store and return. May have to spend more money but Better than losing data. I usually use staples brand but figured I would try these for the price saving. Now with the gas to return and wasted time have not saved anything money or data.

I burned copies of my son's football games and they came out good. Each disked burned correctly, with no problems. I would buy these agian and would recommend them.

I decided to take a chance on these and learned my lesson. Was hoping to get halfway quality media. Turns out these are what is referred to as "landfill" material - best used in the trash only. Media code is Ritek F16-01. Doing test burns at different speeds in 3 different burners yields extremely poor results when scanned for errors using various media checking tools. Discs are littered with many PI errors and failures - literally off the charts. I should have known better than to even try an unknown media source but it is getting hard to find good quality media around here anymore. I will go back to ordering good quality media online, this was not worth the hassle at all.

Sony dvd plus r are the only dvds we buy. We take alot of photos and these are the only dvds with such superior quality. We have tried other brands and at least 10 or more out of a stack of 50 will not burn properly. However with these sony dvd plus r, we may have one or two out of the stack that will not burn. We have saved many videos and personal photos and documents on these dvds and it is nice to know that the quality will be there and that the data is safe when we need it again. I never buy any other kind of dvds! i am hooked on Sony!!

I recorded a wedding using my digital camera and now I want to transfer it to a dvd. Because my camera only records 29 minutes, the wedding is in two files on my card. can I merge them together so that it will [lay as one continuous file? Should I use the DVD+R or DVD-R?

  DVD+R Media: (THIS PRODUCT)
  
  Short for DVD+Recordable, a recordable DVD format similar to a CD-R. A DVD+R can only record data once and then the data becomes permanent on the disc. The disc can not be recorded onto a second time.
  
  DVD-R:
  A write-once, recordable format. DVD-R discs, which can be written to only once, as opposed to a DVD-RW drive, which can write and rewrite to RW media multiple times.
  
  DVD-RW Media:
  DVD ReWritable. A rewritable DVD format that is similar to DVD+RW, but its capability to work as a random access device is not as good as that of the +RW. DVD-RW has a read-write capacity of 4.7 GB.

  The difference between the two is how data is written to them. -R is one continious stream and +R is broken into sectors and tracks.
