Would not buy Reader without the AC charger. This way you can charge when ever where ever and not be tied to your computer. faster charging than on computer.

When I got home from the store and started taking the items out of the bag. The AC adaptor was missing. Everything else I purchased was there except the charger. I went back to the store and was told that there was nothing that they could do.
