Best bargain headphones

Everyone in my family wants these---and at [$] each, I can easily afford a set for each of us. The over-the-ear design makes them the most comfortable earbud-type headphones I have ever used. And I wasn't kidding when I wrote that even my cats like them. They are lightweight enough to hang over cat ears, so the 'kittehs' can enjoy music just like their 'hoomins' (just be sure to keep the volume at the lowest setting).

It is not a bad product. I like the fact that the speakers point downwards in my ear instead of directly into my eardrums. I am not too fond of blasting music since I have my headphones on most of the day.
Bass on the headphones is not great. If you can afford the ipod headphones, performance is far superior. Overall, a decent product for the price.

These headphones are made for a very specific group of people: those who want cheap, decent sound quality headphones for everyday use, but have oddly shaped ears. Their wiring is flimsy and ears will quit anytime from 7 weeks to 6 months after buying.

The real plus is in the fit - for those with large ears for whom earbuds refuse to stay in, this is a godsend. The over-ear clip allows for a snug fit and great audio.

For the average user, these are fine (I use them for high speed mountain biking, so quality doesn't concern me :-). For audiophiles or those with a keen ear, there are dropouts frequently past the 12K mark - a log sine sweep up to 22K wavers ridiculously at that point. Definitely not Audio Tecnica Quality.

For the price, these are great, despite constant failure. I'm on my third pair - they fail, but nothing else fits quite as well as these.

gardening & cycling means I cannot use my hands if earbuds fall out & helmet/ sunhat precludes the use of over the ear headphones.
These work well for my purposes, they stay put
