Stay organized and entertained with the Sony ICD-SX712D Digital Recorder + Voice-to-Print Software. It has a built-in 2GB memory with an SD card slot, which affords an additional 16GB of storage capacity for lectures, notes, music, meetings or any other audio you may want to record. The maximum recording time afforded by the internal memory is 500+ hrs, but a 16GB microSD card can expand the ICD-SX712D's maximum recording time upwards of 4000+ hrs.

        I really like the diversity of using this tool. Instructions were a little hard to use, but screens are intuitive. Unable to erase only one file at a time. Couldn't find amount of memory used so I ran out of space without knowing it.

          The recorder is excellent for meetings, interviews or notes. I have not had the opportunity to record a concert or music as the device is maily for business. The dragon transcription is somewhat dissapointing, however I should try to recalliber the software. Otherwise, great device.

            I use this to transcribe interviews for research purposes. It records beautifully and transcribes pretty well. Needs additional transcribing. I would recommend it - have not found anything better.

                  we purchased one of these recorders and it has the dragon software with it and it says it is mac compatable but it will notlet the recorder software load on my mac. it will load on a windows system but not mac. if it will not load on the mac i will return it.
