Comments aboutSony MDR-EX56LP Earbuds:
I listen to a variety of music and jump from extremes with relation to equalizer settings. When I purchase audio output equipment like headphones or speakers, the frequency range has to reach from the low single digits to the middle 20,000's at least! The signal to noise ratio is amazing too and competes with some of the best car audio speakers I have seen. The sound from these headphones is so clear that all the lows, mids, and highs sound acoustically separated and perfect. The bass really hums and the lowest lows are intense. I can hear all of the chimes playing in an orchestra behind the loudest blares of brass. As far as the physical parts of these headphones, the cord is ultra light and the fittings hold them into your ear serving to keep them in (even while running briskly) at keep outside noise out (even city traffic). The setup of the cord causes some minor tangling but I never have a problem untangling at all. Spend the money and do yourself a favor. Take care of these! They are worth the effort.
