This has become a rare type of equipment, so I am also very glad to [...] carries it. The slowdown functions of this tape recorder are ideal for studying languages. And multiple repetitions cannot be practically done with digital media, either CD or mp3 files. They are meant to play without interruption. So someone wanting to hear audio material for languages has this as the best option in the US.
