      We bought a battery from another source, paid more and got no instructions. We had to return the other battery as we got an "incompatible battery" error. We got the same error with this battery, but this one HAD DIRECTIONS and a CD. We followed the directions and used the CD and it works fine now. BUT BE CAREFUL. This is a smart battery and the CD flashes (reprograms) the BIOS. The BIOS is one of the fundamental programs that runs the computer. If you screw the BIOS up, you are in trouble so this is not for amateurs.
