Comments about Fellowes Stacking Posts for Desk Trays, Chrome:

I used these to stack 2 letter-size chrome baskets and they did the trick. I read the instructions (the pictures are NO help) to install the first two posts, studied how those were positioned, then used that visual aid plus the rest of the installation steps to get the other two posts into place. Total time was about 1 to 2 minutes. My thumbs were a little sore after the last two posts (and careful not to pinch yourself). If you have arthritis or weak hands you might have trouble with this. Be patient and it will work! The instructions and process could be a lot better, but the end result (two stacked wire baskets -- exactly what I wanted -- at a low price) was worth it. Pretty sturdy too, although the top basket might not stand up to having several heavy books etc. in it. [...] Very happy with my purchase.

Comments about Fellowes Stacking Posts for Desk Trays, Chrome:

I agree with the other reviewer--these posts are not designed well. If you ever get them assembled, they are sturdy, even with a lot of papers in them. BUT, it is extremely hard to get them stacked because the diagrams on the instructions are extremely tiny. (and the instructions constantly refer to pictures.) Again, these make the baskets sturdy and stackable, IF you can have the patience to get them figured out, it's worth it.

Comments about Fellowes Stacking Posts for Desk Trays, Chrome:

I love the looks of the wire trays, but these stacking supports are horribly designed. The instructions are very unclear, and the supports do not stand up on their own to allow you to fit the tray between them.

If you don't need to stack the trays, they're wonderful. If you need to stack, you might want to try another product.

The larger open end secures to the bottom tray and you need to insert all 4 stackers. Once they are secured you can snap in the top tier and it will securely fit over the top edges of the top tray

These are specifically made to work with wire letter trays, item 385909. If you're having trouble setting them up. Fellowes can provide further instructions as necessary: (800) 945-4545.

Pete the Manager at the Wilson, NC store was great help Fellows not so much. OK this is the best discription I can give. You may need someone to help hold it.
The large bottom goes on the top of the bottom basket
How? - slide 1 side of large prong in between the two small slots, then place staight part on top of rack with the little extended piece of metal on teh inside and push other prong on other side between the two small slots. Hold it tight and do the same for the opposing side. OK now for the trcky part. Take the top basket and slide the corners into slats. (no you do not squeeze the wire in between the small opening.)Now being careful do the same to the other sides. Once you figure this it out you feel like a fool but let me tell you I have had these posts for months and spent about 3 hours trying to get them to work and called the 800 number and they were no help. If I was more tech savy I would make a short video so noone would have to struggle as much as I did.
