    Bought these to replace a set of "missing" Prismacolors. They work great - blending light to dark is a bit more of a challenge, but the difference in price totally makes up for the extra effort needed to create shading.

      my daughter says - i tried out the pencils and they were amazing. the colors are great.

      i say - i tried them against other pencil brands (some inexpensive and some not) and this one had a wonderfully smooth feel to them when i draw with them. my daughter, who's the artist, loves them. i bought them out of the blue and decided to get them to try them out. she hasn't experienced any pencil breakage while sharpening them yet. it comes with a really nice pencil case too. i suggest to get their brand of sharpener because they really work well.
