    I use this T-Square for horizontal straight lines (in combination with triangles to make vertical lines) in mostly freehand work. Once I have perspective established in the work established I put it aside.

    It seems of good quality. I has no measurements so it is very basic and simple.

    I wish I had gotten a longer T-Square, but this does a serviceable job and clearly has its measurements in the name.

    This used to be the professional standard for drafting, but this newest version has wood that is very soft--liable to scratch easily, or pick up small, sharp things that could scratch drawing paper/vellum. You need to be more scrupulous about keeping the bottom clean.

      Ease of use and works great for what I needed it for. I am sure it will last a long time so well worth the cost to purchase. Did not take long to stop in at our local Staples and pick it up. Check out line was not long at all and locating the product was very easy too! If you need something like this I recommend you stop in and purchase at your Staples! Friendly staff is there to direct you to where you need to go and always willing to help if you need extra assistance. If they don't have it in stock they can order it for you!

        Mars Staedtler has always made a quality product - and still does this is an easy to use, sturdy, economically-priced product. However, when I purchased this one, it never occurred to me that it wouldn't have measuring increments on it. For my uses, I need a t-square to mark equal measurements, and this one doesn't work for that purpose. If all you need to do is mark off straight lines, this product will work perfectly; if you need to mark off measurements, look at one of the other Mars Staedtler products. (I loved my 20-year old metal MarsStaedtler t-square, but I loaned it out and haven't had it returned).
