All around good scale. It even works better with the China that was stamped on the end buffed out, lol. The only thing that would make it better to me is if the measurement marks were pressed/engraved into it instead of printed/painted on it.

It's good to own a durable ruler that won't constantly be breaking on you. Specially if you take it to work in a construction environment, where it gets a harsh treatment.

I use this scale on a daily basis scaling drawings and find the metal to be easier on the paper than cheaper plastic ones. It also moves over drawings with ease.
