I had used a saddle stapler for my booklets and pamphlets, but in the middle of a job, it broke. Unable to obtain a saddle stapler locally, I found this long-armed stapler. Hesitantly, I bought it, not knowing whether it would do the job. To my amazement, it worked well. I finished my job quickly and well. If the paper guide is set well, the stapler puts the staple in accurately. It enabled me to finish the job on time and have a finished product I could be proud of. I would recommend this stapler to anyone.

This product was bought for my church to staple multi-page programs that are 8 1/2" x 11" sheets folded down the middle and stapled on the fold. The construction of the stapler is such that it is difficult to ensure that the staple is consistently on the fold.

I purchased this stapler to bind multi-page books and pamphlets together. The extended reach makes this possible. The shortcoming is it is very hard to align the pages properly and keep them lined up under the stapler to achieve consistent results. Except for small projects and prototypes I would recommend using a professional printer to bind documents instead of this stapler.

Adjustment bar hits the desktop when stapling at 5.5 inches. Entire lower unit flexes when stapling. Modified with auto door-edge guards to keep this from striking desktop.
