I am an elementary teacher and have had two heavy duty staplers. They both broke in the same manner. Now this same stapler has been redesigned and doesn't appear to be weak in that area at all. I like the feature that allows you to open up the stapler in the front to un-jam staples. Easier to use (press) than earlier models.

Good for stapling large numbers of sheets of paper using heavy duty staples of varying lengths (You must load the proper length depending on how many sheets you wish to staple)

You should purchase another stapler if you intend to use a large volume stapler daily or extensively, one that uses only one size staple and cuts it to the approriate length for the job.

This stapler is only adequate for occasional or infrequent use, but that's why it is inexpensive. It also has the nasty habit of wasting staples. I noticed this same complaint from other users reviews before I bought it. Fortunately I do not require a large volume stapler more than once or twice a week, so wasted staples (although I am not happy about it) are less of an issue for me.

I brought two of these staplers & neither worked. They constantly jammed & when it did Staple it looked horrible. If I tried to remove the staple, it wouldn't come out.

          Use this for stapling 20 or more sheets, or if heavy paper in involved. Buy the proper staples for the job, because regular ones will get crushed. This product accepts several sizes, so I bought a variety to be prepared for whatever big job comes along.
