I love office supplies, and gold paper clips are different. I use the gold ones whenever I have more than one page to pass on to someone else. They are impressive and I've already had several comments about them. The not so great thing is that I might run out of them sooner than I'd like if I keep passing out papers to people.

The packaging needs to be revised. These paper clips can get lost, and it would be better to package them in lots of 100, which would be a savings to the customer. In the past, I've noticed these "gold" paper clips can leave rusty marks on the paper. It takes time for this to happen, and I don't know if the product has been improved.

Ohmygosh! What amazing new technology. This simple little gold wire thing is twisted into a configuration that will actually hold several sheets of paper together if you stick the paper between the different parts of the twisted wire. I've never seen anything quite like it before, and frankly, I'm not sure how I ever survived without it. What's incredible is that you can use it for both personal and professional purposes. Kudos to Staples for stocking and making this breakthrough product available. I recommend these things to everyone!

The gold paperclips have become the trademark for my business. Anything that goes out of my office is attached by a gold paperclip. I even have some clients who save the paperclips for me so I can reuse them. I think they add a little class to whatever they are attached to.

  A #2 paper clip is 3.4 inches long, and a #1 paper clip is 2.8 inches long, making the #2 paper clip the larger of the two.

  These are not corrosion resistant. Staples does carry a #1 size vinyl-coated paper clip that claim to be corrosion resistant in quantities of 500 and 1000 per package.
