I love this notebook... it has such wide writing spaces. It makes writing short stories much quicker and easier, as it doesn't slow me down when I have to change lines. It also functions quite well as a notebook for my French III class because of all the papers I have to glue in; the 8 x 11 papers fit in easily without needing to be trimmed. I was motivated to purchase this product because of how well another similar notebook from Staples worked for me last year in my French I and II classes. I have already recommended this notebook to several other friends who write frequently and/or take French.

I've been using Staples spiral notebooks for several years. I've tried others and keep coming back to them.

The notebook is think enough to last a long time and helps me to keep track of meetings in a compact form.

I always bought these notebooks because they had a durable wire which I couldn't find elsewhere.

In spring of 2010 Staples had nearly perfected these notebooks when they fixed the plastic pockets (for loose papers). Under the cover, on the pocket they removed this little seal that takes up about .25" at the bottom of the pocket and causes all your papers you put in here to stick out the top of the notebook and get wrinkled and ruined - rendering using the pocket useless. It was a great improvement but, much to my surprise, when I went to buy school supplies this fall the notebooks I purchased had that annoying seal back on the pockets! Staples, bring back the fixed version that won't ruin any papers you put in there!

Also, it would be nice for the perforation to be improved - the papers are hard to rip out.
