Q: The corners do not seem to seal effectively, requiring me to tape them. Is this a problem with the item in general or perhaps the lot I have. I am reluctant to reorder this. Asked on 7/5/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: All these kind of envelopes seem to have that problem. (at least all the ones I have ever used) Answered on 7/6/2010 by 2006 Daytona from DeLand, FL A: Most Envelopes are purposely not glued at the edges so they can easily be opened with a letter opener. If the envelope is constructed well with a good adhesive it won't open in transit. If you're taping the ends, believe me, you're making someone Mad at the receiving end.
