I waited a while getting this shredder after my old one gave up the ghost so I've been doing some bulk shredding the last few days. The "bin full", "auto over temp" and anti-jam sensors are quite a bit more sensitive than I expected but it otherwise works quite well. The bin sensor is designed to lock out the shredder before paper piles up high enough to jam up the blades but it only allows about half the actual capacity to be used before this happens. It is certainly robust enough for personal and home office day-to-day use and should last much longer than other less expensive models I've use in the past. Well worth the price.

The sensor got 'dirty' on every other shred. Support suggestion was to clean it every time! Yea right. It sits next to the blades ~ 1" away. So they said to pick it up,put it on the table, un-plug it, etc. I was exhausted talking to them.

Bin did not contain all the small stuff. About 20% went behind the bin and ultimate on to the floor. Support said this was normal due to static.

Static is normal, they did not take it into account with the design.

        I have used the product to shred personal papers and it does a nice job. 3 bins fill a kitchen garbage bag and anyone trying to put these pieces of paper back together would have quite a job on their hands. When it does overheat, it shuts down for a long time but I leave a paper in the slot and listen for it to shred when it comes back on.

        Came packaged well, easy set up. Had hard time getting turned on 1st time. Finally figured out that the ON switch has to be pushed and held, not just pushed. Would prefer simple switches rather than fancy work there now.

        Overall this is good shredder. However, the switches are squishy and sensitive where you touch them. Also the trip switch is temperamental at times be sure to place the paper in just right or it will not like you.
