I liked the self-sealing feature for a bulk mailing, but the seal did not hold and I had to add tape to secure.

The documents that I mailed were heavy (100 pages) and few envelopes started to tear from the metal spiral in the document binding.

Since I am sending out tax returns, both corners need to be secured with additional tape. Adds additional time of getting mailers out to the client.

There is a problem with the adhesive on the sealing strip. The envelope does not stay sealed. I have had to put tape on every envelope that I use.

No one likes to lick an envelope. And I've bought pre-gummed ones too, but over time the gum gets old so if you dont use a lot, you end up throwing some away. The quick strip is easy, sticks well, seals great, and you don't have to taste that nasty stuff licking an envelope

The only negative was that they are not actually 10 x 13 in size as described in the title of the product. Fortunately the 2 pocket folder we wanted to mail in them JUST fit.
