I originally purchased this product because it was on sale and readily available, but it has become a very dependable and reliable substitute for the more expensive products.

I use it in all forms of transfers and storage from music to archiving. It also works well at movie duplication and comple system back ups.

  DVD-R and DVD+R are very similar DVD recording formats. Once recorded, a DVD-R can be played on most home DVD players. If you are unsure of what type of recording format your DVD player accepts you can't go wrong with the DVD-R format.

  DVD-R allows you to record on the disc only one time, and the main use would be to make movie/music discs which are easily read (once finalized) in other DVD players. DVD+R can be erased and rewritten up to 1000 times, making them good for incremental data backups, and can be read in devices which accept DVD+R media.

  DVD-r versuses CDR is main diffrence is capacity. DVD has more capacity than the CDR and CDR can not only reocrd images but also music. DVD primarily for images.
