Thankfully I got the 11' USB cable version at Staples instead of the 10' model at a competitor store which would have been too short for the application it was needed for although I thought I had measured correctly. In fact I almost got a 6-7' foot version which would have been a waste of money just like the 10 footer. Everything else about the cable was very nice also such as the permanently attached velcro cable tie.
