worst ruler I've ever bought

This clear ruler scratches very easily; indeed, it arrived scratched-up (and with a sticker that was extremely hard to remove). The measurement marks (which are not dark enough) don't go all the way to the edge making it useless for certain common types of measuring.

In my attempt to take off the white product sticker off the back, it left a terrible residue that is is still impossible to get off.

To Staples, I will only say: STICK THE 2 and 3/4 inch 'MADE IN CHINA' label ON THE WRAPPER!

To other consumers: It's a nice inexpensive ruler. Transparent so you can see references and other things as you measure things or if you just want a placeholder. It does scratch, but isn't really noticeable while you work. The fingerprints accumulate faster than scratches on this thing, however.

To other businesses: Please consider the time and/or resources required to remove an ultra-sticky label from a inexpensive ruler.
