      I needed to mail some 11x17 papers printed on thicker card stock that would be damaged if folded (this was presentation material). These envelopes were the perfect (and only!) thing I could find in a bunch of stores to ship the papers without folding them.

          There was a flood in my area and I had about 12 inches of backup water in my basement. When I moved into this house I had stored several things in the basement. Of course everything got wet including a large box of old vinyl records. The outter jackets were ruined but the records washed up fine. I needed something to replace the jackets. Your large envelopes were just the ticket. They protect the records, and whatever I could save of the jackets could be glued or taped on the envelopes. If the jacket was totally ruined, I used a magic marker to label the various envelopes. Thank you

                  My basement was recently flooded. I had several LP records stored in the basement. After drying the original jackets, they warped. Records could be washed, but jackets would eventually warp the records. I needed something that would protect and store the records. These envelopes were a good size and I could write new labels on each indicating the record stored within.
