    Having ruined many rulers when cutting on a straight edge, this one eliminates that problem and saves money at the same time. Also when used with ink there is no bleeding due to the cork backing, that also make it slip resistant.

    I'm very disapointed. Last time I purchased this i got the item in the picture. After misplacing it and ordering a new one, I get something that looks similar to the one in the picture, but says 'staples' instead of westcott and the label stuck to the cork on the reverse side (which is impossible to remove intact I should add) says "made in China".

    Very, very disapointing that staples has 'cost-outed' a USA company to china, yet kept the same 'premium' price for a 'not-as-premium' product (edges are sharp, remenants of label still stuck to cork)...
