I ordered this shredder for our new office. We have about 10 people here and they are always on the phone with customers. The shredder is a little noisier than i anticipated but not enough for the call center people to have to ask the customer to repeat themselves. The office is pretty quiet anyway so I'm sure in a noisier setting it would not be as loud as it seems here. We are happy with it, it never jams and shreds everything into little pieces. It came with a lubricant sheet which I found very helpful. It came in one piece and set up was a breeze. I love the fact that I can roll it further back or further forward and it does not take alot of effort. It looks great and works great. I recommend to anyone looking for a good office shredder! It could work a little faster, but hey what can ya do.

Not great because...

We purchased this product for our classroom after much research. The description said that it will shred staples. However, on receiving the product, it says to definitely NOT put in staples. Secondly, nowhere in the description does it include the information that the shredder shuts down after shredding 250 sheets and requires the lubricant sheet be used. These lubricant sheets cost [$] each. We have a large volume of shredding and for a nonprofit agency, this has proved expensive. Soon we will not be able to use it at all because we do not have the lubricant sheets in the budget. Very unhappy.

This machine makes easy work of up to 18 pages and can run for a long time. It shreds so finely that it makes quite a bit of paper dust when emptying the bin. Louder than any previous shredder we've used, but it's in our back room so not an issue for us.

It warms up too quickly & jams, I need to run it off and wait. i cant return it becasue it is extremely heavy. and the packaging is not very condusive to reuse in order to return.

So far this has been a great shredder. I got tired of buying cheap shredders every month. It is quiet and has plenty of power for small office use. The $50 rebate was kind of a pain since I ordered it online and the store did not know anything about a rebate. Bob Delava

I'd like to know if the trash receptical slides or pulls out easily or if you have to lift the shredder off of the trash receptical? A couple of reviewers suggested that it was a problem for them to empty the shredded papers.
