I ordered this shredder for our new office. We have about 10 people here and they are always on the phone with customers. The shredder is a little noisier than i anticipated but not enough for the call center people to have to ask the customer to repeat themselves. The office is pretty quiet anyway so I'm sure in a noisier setting it would not be as loud as it seems here. We are happy with it, it never jams and shreds everything into little pieces. It came with a lubricant sheet which I found very helpful. It came in one piece and set up was a breeze. I love the fact that I can roll it further back or further forward and it does not take alot of effort. It looks great and works great. I recommend to anyone looking for a good office shredder! It could work a little faster, but hey what can ya do.

Not great because...

We purchased this product for our classroom after much research. The description said that it will shred staples. However, on receiving the product, it says to definitely NOT put in staples. Secondly, nowhere in the description does it include the information that the shredder shuts down after shredding 250 sheets and requires the lubricant sheet be used. These lubricant sheets cost [$] each. We have a large volume of shredding and for a nonprofit agency, this has proved expensive. Soon we will not be able to use it at all because we do not have the lubricant sheets in the budget. Very unhappy.

Immediately put to the test once opened and plugged in. Supposed to shred 18 sheets - took 15 sheets of printer paper and attempted to schred. Chocked up and jammed. Difficulty to un-jam - had to yank paper out of opening. Finally got it to work on 10 sheets simultaneously! Noisy and extremely slow ....very very slow!
