Purchased to use with existing cable TV, to attach computer - did not work - called cable company, they sent technician, technician said this splitter had resistance way above what would be acceptable for use with modem/router for internet use - as I had discarded receipt and packaging I guess I will have to throw it in a drawer and forget it

Please note that some TV receivers can transmit two separate signals from a cable provider. Please check the TV manual or your cable provider for programming codes specific to each TV model.
