Daughter needed pencils for school. They seem to get lost or stolen at a ridiculous rate so I need to keep 75+ available at home all the time. I was afraid these would be cheap soft wood or pressed wood pencils but they are made of a good enough quality that the lead does not break constantly. Not as good as a Ticonderoga but they do the job well.

Pencils just will not sharpen. Frustrating to children in school.

I like the large package/quantity for a reasonable price. A softer graphite lead would
be better for the usage of small school children who do not have the muscle to bear down while learning to write.

After reading the pro & con choices I tried to microvave a pencil.They are of a perfet size & quite stylish.If you only use them for writing,durable,may not be good for spikes to climb icy mountains.Dishwahser safe is only an assumption,try at your own risk.Rally don't reccomend this as the sparks off the metal eraser holder were pretty bad.Under best uses, for dining they can be used as chopsticks but are a bit awkward,probally not good unless you grew up in a country with no forks.They would make great gifts for someone that consumes a lot of pencils at home ,office or travelling.Can't think of any use camping or for breakfast but you may have your own ideas.
