When I ordered this it was listed as a "Dual Bin" Shredder. It still has the icon stating so but the description has changed. Maybe that's because it is not "Dual Bin". The bin is an odd shape, cut lower in the back. You cannot use a liner with this shredder. Liners do not fit properly and make the sensor show the bin is full. It also blocks the pretty light illuminating the confetti-like display as you shred.

When the bin is full you have to dump into a can or bag. This forced me to whip out the vaccum creating office noise. Even though the shredder noise is tolerable the fact I had to vaccum negated that attractive 60Db feature. Also, even without the liner the shredder frequently said it was full. I had to pull out the bin and adjust the contents, close, turn on, and continue a few times.

The shredder is on wheels for easy mobility and it needs to be due to it's weight.

If you are looking for an attractive effective shredder and don't mind these set backs, then this is the shredder for you. If you want ease and neatness and would like to use liners for convenience then this is not the shredder you are looking for.

Awful!!!

First of all you have 2 power buttons. One power switch on the back, then you have to hit the power button on the front every time you want to shred something. Then you have the most annoying delay before the shredder actually starts to shred. You put the sheet in the top and have to hold it there for a second before it actually starts to shred.

Now...to the bags. If you want to use a bag, forget it. It will just drop into the bin and you end up with paper everywhere. So you think, thats ok, I can live without the bag. Sounds great in theory until you decide to dump it. Unless you can fit the entire bin in your recycle bin, you will have little paper pieces everywhere.

Needless to say. I hate this shredder and can't get it back in the box fast enough.

Maybe my expectation of being able to quickly roll over and shred something are unreasonable.

I ended up choosing this one after looking at the other Staples and Fellows models.

This one looks bigger than the Fellows but the but the top of the Bin is only about 60% of the whole shredder. So it holds less than it looks.

Noise wise It was next to the "quiet" micro cut in the store not that much difference in noise and does 6 more sheets.

My last 15 sheet shreeder would "moan" on thick junk mail.. this one chewed it down with no problem. And has smaller confetti. Stuff that is almost too thick for the slot it shreads just fine.. not sure what it would take to trigger the special pre jam alert.

BTW the pause after inserting paper is about 1/2 second.. not three seconds as I had read.

Blue backlit buttons are hard to push..
Bin is small and hard to fit a bag into..

But it shreads lots of paper with ease.. better bin and it would have 5 stars.

The Bin glows blue when shredding..which is cool but I think the chrome on top looks cheap.. liked the look of the cheaper non-chrome shreder but didn't want a shredder that had problems if a paper clip sneaks in.

I am happy with my choice

For 30 buck I bought the 2 year instant replacement warranty as my last shredder dies suddenly when the two plastic spacers snapped after 3 years.. I need this one to last that long I have boxs of old bills in the garage.

It does jam easy but it clears easily also, by backing it up and then continuing. It mainly jams if the document doesn't feed straight.

First Machine kept shutting off after only 1 minute of use - found out it had a defective switch. Replacement machine received very quickly. Second Machine did the same thing - gal on phone said they had a problem with the switch, machine must have been from the same lot.........shouldn't they have removed all units from their inventory and resolved this problem!
